About the winery and the wine

One of the great Burgundian figures was Pierre Ponnelle. Born in 1847, he formed his own Négociant-Eleveur company in 1875. He was regarded as a pioneer in oenology and had a strong interest in the sciences. Additionally, he was a successful businessman who contributed to the growth of Burgundy wines.
Today, the traditional yet modern wine firm he built continues to be a reference for the quality of its wines and its reputation has expanded across multiple nations throughout the world.
The Pierre PONNELLE company has remained loyal to its origins and its slogan, "Respiciamus atque propiciamus," which means, "We look to the future in the strength of our past accomplishments," for nearly 150 years after it was founded."

This superb Vin de France Pinot Noir is the result of the special selection of Pinot Noir grapes. These wines are enhanced by the rich and jammy notes of dark fruits like blackcurrant, blackberry, blackcherry, and others due to the impact of the southern climate. This wine is now suitable for consumption because its endearing flavor has sufficiently developed.

Tasting notes

Medium-intensity ruby red with a purple sheen.
With hints of spices and juicy red fruits, the scent is round and powerful. The scents of flowers and cherries fill the lips. All of the Pinot Noir's delicateness and elegance are developed in this wine. It is fairly long and circular.
