About the Vineyard and the wine
Beronia started in 1973, when a group of friends who used to meet in a txoko (gastronomical society) to share their passion for gastronomy and wine decided to found some wineries in Ollauri, La Rioja. Today, almost 50 years later, their friendship continues to give life to some of the most appreciated wines in the region. Beronia Reserva is made from a selection of the best grapes from the oldest Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo vineyards. After a slow and careful controlled fermentation with periodic pumping over to extract the desired color and aromas, it remains for 18 months in mixed American and French oak barrels, achieving a slow and harmonious evolution. It completes its aging for another 18 months in the bottle before going on the market.
 
Tasting notes
This wine has an intense cherry red color.Moreover the nose is complex with aroma of black fruits, where the blackberry stands out, and great harmony of species such as cinnamon. On the palate it is gourmand, with a sweet and round tannin that blends well the acid fruit with the wood. It is fresh, structured, with great complexity and a long aftertaste.
