About the winery and the wine
The origins of the appellation's vineyard date back to the 14th century. It was at this time, under the aegis of the Popes, that Châteauneuf du Pape acquired its letters of nobility. Terroir Daronton comes from a selection of plots located mainly in the north of the appellation. The old vines of Grenache flourish on soils of rolled pebbles on the surface and clay deeper down.
Tasting notes
This red has a very elegant nose with notes of prunes, figs and caramel. The mouth is powerful and well structured with a lot of roundness on melted and racy tannins. With sweet roasted final notes.
