About Pays d’Oc region

Impressive are the Pays d'Oc IGP numbers. France's vine-covered area was estimated by Vitisphere to be 745,000 hectares in 2017. All of France's IGPs combined comprised 195,000ha, with 120,000ha under vine in the Pays d'Oc IGP alone. In contrast, the Appellation d'Origine Protégée (AP) vineyards spanned 446,000ha.
The Pays d'Oc IGP boasts a total vineyard area of 125,000ha, which is comparable to South Africa on a global scale. 20% of all French wine is produced in this classification; in 2017, the greatest of the four districts, Hérault, produced 4 million hectoliters, which is more than all of Bordeaux (3.6 million hl).

What to pair with Qué¡?

Qué¡ will go very well with grilled beef and lamb, and also meat in sauce dishes. You can also enjoy it with terrines (cold cuts). With cheeses we would recommend to go for a soft blue cheese with not too strong flavors such as Bleu D'Auvergne.
