About winery
The Friars of Santa Maria Della Scala established Monte del Frà as a monastery, surrounded by vineyards and the rolling hills surrounding Lake Garda. The Bonomo family is currently in charge of Monte del Frà. Generations and years go by, but one thing never changes: a complete dedication to the land.
The Bonomo family has made their fortune for three generations by adhering to a straightforward principle: a respectful attitude is essential to narrating the history of an area. Monte del Frà is a special gem that needs to be proudly shared with the world and protected.
Tasting notes
The pleasant taste of Italy's Lake Garda region is evoked in this delicate, fragrant crimson. On the nose, picture juicy summer berries and luscious cherries. Like its neighbor Valpolicella, it is mostly made from the Corvina grape and is gently fermented in stainless steel to preserve its freshness. With bright red fruit flavors, a little trace of spice, and a tart cranberry note on the finish, the outcome is a lively, approachable red wine.
