About the Vineyard and the wine
An important player in the Italian winemaking sector of Abruzzo is Cantina Tollo's Rocca Ventosa winery, which was founded in 1960. The winery takes its name from the Rocca Ventosa vineyards, which are renowned for their high-quality grapes and windswept position.
 
Tasting notes
Mundus Vini 2011 Silver Medal winner, the Roccaventosa Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Dop is a medium-bodied red with the characteristic ruby colour and aromas of red fruits and Morello Cherry.
