Échiré Butter is an AOP or PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin). Hailed as one of the best butters in the world, we brought this wonderful delicacy to Metro Manila, Philippines for you to enjoy it.

Why is Échiré Butter so special?

The delicate, creamy, and distinctive flavor of Échiré butter, which has been prepared at the same independent dairy near the Western French cities of Poitiers and La Rochelle since 1894, is what makes it so appealing. It has a greater melting point and 82% more butterfat than regular butters. Because of this feature, it works particularly well for delicate foods like croissants and puff pastry that require multiple rolls out.
This butter has a very light yellow color, similar to that of primrose petals. In addition to being firmer than regular butter, it is also suppler and less greasy in texture.

Échiré butter is so well-known throughout the world that a lot of the best bakeries, pâtisseries, and dining establishments only use it. Even two stores in Japan, Marché au Beurre in Osaka and Maison du Beurre in Tokyo, are solely dedicated to selling Échiré. The in-house prepared pure-butter croissants are sold out before lunchtime due to their cult status.
Échiré Butter is Non-GMO certified and has been an Appellation d'Origine Protégée (AOP) since 1992.
