About the winery and the wine
Warwick's terroir, which is located in the foothills of the famous Simonsberg Mountain in Stellenbosch, provides the ideal combination of conditions for producing dependably excellent grapes. Honoring Norma Ratcliffe, who began producing wine on the Warwick Estate in the 1970s, are the First Lady wines. She is regarded by many as the "First Lady" of the wine industry in South Africa.
 
Tasting notes
With luscious, generous, and opulent black currant and blackberry fruit notes accompanied by mineral graphite hints and a refined thread of complexity from additional leather and cigar box undertones, this is an exquisitely smooth, graceful, and wonderfully soft Cabernet Sauvignon varietal.
