About the winery and the wine
Founded in 1993, Viña Casablanca is one of the pioneering wineries of the Casablanca Valley, a cool-climate region heavily influenced by the Pacific Ocean. The valley is known for its morning fogs and fresh coastal breezes, creating ideal conditions for producing elegant, aromatic wines—especially Pinot Noir and white varieties. The Cefiro range takes its name from the coastal winds (“Céfiro” meaning gentle breeze), which play a crucial role in maintaining freshness and balance in the grapes. This Pinot Noir reflects the winery’s philosophy of expressing terroir through careful vineyard management and modern winemaking techniques.
The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit purity, followed by a short aging period—partially in oak—to add subtle complexity without overpowering the delicate varietal character.
