About the Vineyard and the wine
Viña Apaltagua's journey started in 1995 when Edward Tutunjian, a successful businessman, visited Chile for a holiday and fell in love with the country and its outstanding wines. He then made an investment in La Pancora, his first vineyard, which is situated in the renowned Curicó Valley in Chile's Seventh Region.
 
Tasting notes
Chile's Viña Apaltagua Gran Verano Cabernet Sauvignon is a ruby red wine that is full of fruit. The wine has a smooth, mouthwatering flavor that echoes the upfront scents of red fruit on the nose. Sweet tannins and a crisp, well-balanced finish define it.
 
What to pair with Viña Apaltagua, Gran Verano Cabernet Sauvignon?
The perfect pairing with this cabernet Sauvignon is definitely a grilled steak, that can be simply on an iron cast or from a BBQ. However if you want something simpler, a burger can be good too.
